The class of ’62 has already started the plans for their 50th reunion in 2012. The committee met last fall and again in January 2011. The dates for the 50th reunion are August 11th and 12th of 2012. The plan is for a catered dinner at Silver Falls State Park on Saturday followed by a potluck picnic at Coolidge and McClaine Park in Silverton on Sunday. We hope that by setting the date and planning this far in advance we will have a great time. Class members

Plans for our annual “mini reunion” are set for Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the home of our classmate Doug Fisher and his wife Nancy. We have been meeting every year for a potluck since our 40th reunion, either at a class member’s home or Coolidge and McClaine Park in Silverton. Doug and Nancy live at 14226 Waldo Hills Drive in the Victor Point area south of Silverton.

We will have a beautiful setting among the large trees in the yard of the home they built themselves. Chatting will begin at 11:00 a.m. and pot luck at noon. For those who like scavenger hunts, Doug plans to have a geo-cache somewhere on the property.

This year our committee varies but current members include Pam, Theresa, Gretchen, Colleen, Charlie, George, Doug, and Georgie. Our next planning meeting is at Georgie’s on Thursday, May 19 at 2 p.m., 575 Edgewood Dr.,
