The graduating class of 1965 will be celebrating their 45th reunion this year at the SHS Alumni’s annual Fundraiser, formerly known as the “All Class Reunion”, at the Oregon Garden on the first Friday in August (August 6). The Friday night event is an excellent opportunity to meet and reminisce with classmates not only from 1965, but it also gives you the chance to renew acquaintances from other graduating classes.

Look for information in this newsletter for advance ticket sales, or you can purchase tickets at the door. See page 12.

The reunion will continue on Saturday with a tour of the new high school, beginning at 2:00 p.m. and then a get-together at Dennis Hadley’s (2620 Silver Falls Dr., Silverton). If you aren’t going to tour the new school, Dennis will be ready for you at 2:00 p.m. Please bring your own lawn chair, beverage of choice and favorite snack to share. Also, if you have pictures

from past reunions or old school days you would like to share, bring them along. You can call Dennis at 503-873-4773 if you need directions.

We have a mailing list, but after 45 years, folks have a tendency to move. We are working on updating this list, so if you have any update for yourself or any of our classmates,
